Recap - Maryland Defeats UMBC 92-68

Maryland cruised to victory on Tuesday, running UMBC out of the gym and running up a 92-68 score at Xfinity Center.

Jahmir Young had 20 points for Maryland and Julian Reese chipped in with 15 points. DeShawn Harris-Smith had 2 assists for them, while Julian Reese was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.

UMBC got a 15-point performance from Anthony Valentine, who was supported by 13 points from Dion Brown. Max Lorca-Lloyd had 4 assists in a losing cause for UMBC, while Dion Brown grabbed 7 rebounds.

Maryland was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Maryland had a 41-39 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Maryland looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the South Alabama. UMBC will aim to get back on the winning track at William & Mary.
