Chuck Harris scored 18 points leading SMU to a 78-67 victory over Lamar at Moody Coliseum on Thursday.
SMU got 13 points from Tyreek Smith and another 11 points from Emory Lanier. B.J. Edwards contributed 5 assists, while Keon Ambrose-Hylton cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Lamar got a 13-point performance from Cody Pennebaker, who was supported by 10 points from Chris Pryor. Jakevion Buckley had 3 assists in a losing cause for Lamar, while Cody Pennebaker grabbed 7 rebounds.
SMU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
