Manhattan got 16 points from Shaquil Bender en route to a 67-63 victory over Central Connecticut State on Sunday at William H. Detrick Gymnasium.
Manhattan got 15 points from Seydou Traore and another 12 points from Brett Rumpel. Jaden Winston contributed 5 assists, while Seydou Traore cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Central Connecticut State got 25 points from Allan Jeanne-Rose in a losing cause and another 11 points from Kellen Amos. Jordan Jones contributed 4 assists for them, while Kellen Amos had 5 rebounds.
Manhattan was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
