Recap - SMU Defeats Murray State 92-65

SMU cruised to victory on Friday, running Murray State out of the gym and running up a 92-65 score at CFSB Center.

SMU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -5.5-point spread as favorites.

Chuck Harris had 16 points for SMU and Ricardo Wright chipped in with 12 points. Chuck Harris had 5 assists for them, while Samuell Williamson was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.

Murray State got 18 points from Quincy Anderson in a losing cause and another 13 points from Brian Moore Jr.. Rob Perry contributed 2 assists for them, while Alden Applewhite had 7 rebounds.

SMU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

SMU won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 35-34.

SMU heads into a battle against Charlotte. Murray State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Middle Tennessee.
