LSU Defeats Vanderbilt 77-69 - Recap

Jalen Cook went off for 28 points and added 4 rebounds leading LSU over Vanderbilt, 77-69, on Tuesday at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

LSU won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -8.5-point spread.

LSU got 15 points from Jordan Wright and another 10 points from Mike Williams III. Trae Hannibal contributed 3 assists, while Mike Williams III cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.

Vanderbilt got a 19-point performance from Ezra Manjon, who was supported by 11 points from Ven-Allen Lubin. Ezra Manjon had 3 assists in a losing cause for Vanderbilt, while JaQualon Roberts grabbed 6 rebounds.

LSU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Vanderbilt had a 37-35 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

LSU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Auburn. Vanderbilt will aim to get back on the winning track at Ole Miss.
