Central Arkansas Falls 74-71 to Eastern Michigan - Recap
Tyson Acuff scored 23 points leading Eastern Michigan to a 74-71 victory over Central Arkansas at Farris Center on Saturday.
Arne Osojnik had 20 points for Eastern Michigan and Yusuf Jihad chipped in with 12 points. Julius Ellerbe had 5 assists for them, while Julius Ellerbe was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
Central Arkansas got 24 points from Carl Daughtery Jr. in a losing cause and another 14 points from Javion Guy-King. Johannes Kirsipuu contributed 13 assists for them, while Elias Cato had 6 rebounds.
Eastern Michigan was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Next game, Eastern Michigan takes its act home to face North Dakota looking for another win. For Central Arkansas, they head home to face New Orleans.
