Navy Falls 88-64 to Colgate - Recap
The battle between Colgate and Navy didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Navy was handed a 88-64 defeat on Saturday at Cotterell Court.
Colgate got 17 points from Keegan Records and another 14 points from Braeden Smith. Jalen Cox contributed 6 assists, while Keegan Records cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Navy got a 16-point performance from Mike Woods, who was supported by 15 points from Austin Benigni. Austin Benigni had 5 assists in a losing cause for Navy, while Mike Woods grabbed 6 rebounds.
Colgate was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Colgate won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-27.
Next game, Colgate takes its act on the road to face Boston University looking for another win. For Navy, they head home to face Bucknell.
