Michigan Falls 84-76 Against Purdue - Game Recap
Zach Edey scored 35 points and added 15 rebounds for a double-double, leading Purdue over Michigan, 84-76, on Sunday at Crisler Center.
Purdue earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -13.5-point spread.
Lance Jones had 15 points for Purdue and Braden Smith chipped in with 11 points. Braden Smith had 11 assists for them, while Zach Edey was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 15 boards.
Michigan got a 19-point performance from Dug McDaniel, who was supported by 12 points from Nimari Burnett. Dug McDaniel had 6 assists in a losing cause for Michigan, while Tarris Reed Jr. grabbed 7 rebounds.
Purdue was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Purdue won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-24.
Next game, Purdue takes its act home to face Michigan State looking for another win. For Michigan, they head on the road to face Rutgers.
