Drake Defeats Murray State 95-72 - Recap
The battle between Drake and Murray State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Murray State was handed a 95-72 defeat on Sunday at Knapp Center.
Drake was a -9.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Drake got 23 points from Kevin Overton and another 22 points from Tucker DeVries. Conor Enright contributed 6 assists, while Darnell Brodie cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Murray State got 22 points from Quincy Anderson in a losing cause and another 16 points from JaCobi Wood. Shawn Walker Jr. contributed 2 assists for them, while Nick Ellington had 7 rebounds.
Drake was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
