Fresno State Falls 85-56 Against BYU - Game Recap

The battle between BYU and Fresno State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Fresno State was handed a 85-56 defeat on Friday at Delta Center.

BYU was a -14.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

BYU got 24 points from Jaxson Robinson and another 22 points from Spencer Johnson. Spencer Johnson contributed 5 assists, while Trevin Knell cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.

Fresno State got 14 points from Isaiah Hill in a losing cause and another 10 points from Jalen Weaver. Isaiah Hill contributed 5 assists for them, while Eduardo Andre had 7 rebounds.

BYU was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

BYU had a 31-22 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

BYU looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Evansville. Fresno State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Idaho State.
