Vermont got 15 points from Shamir Bogues en route to a 66-61 victory over UMass-Lowell on Saturday at Roy L Patrick Gymnasium.
Vermont got 14 points from TJ Long and another 12 points from Aaron Deloney. Ileri Ayo-Faleye contributed 4 assists, while Shamir Bogues cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
UMass-Lowell got 17 points from Cam Morris III in a losing cause and another 14 points from Brayden O'Connor. Ayinde Hikim contributed 3 assists for them, while Cam Morris III had 10 rebounds.
Vermont was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UMass-Lowell won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-27.
