Tampa Falls 87-60 to Long Beach State - Recap
The battle between Long Beach State and Tampa didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Tampa was handed a 87-60 defeat on Saturday at The Walter Pyramid.
A.J. Spencer had 16 points for Long Beach State and Travis Hammonds chipped in with 13 points. Noah Blackwell had 5 assists for them, while Roschon Prince was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 6 boards.
Tampa got a 15-point performance from Marcel Robinson, who was supported by 11 points from Pat Bacon. Pat Bacon had 3 assists in a losing cause for Tampa, while Zachary Hollis grabbed 7 rebounds.
Long Beach State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Long Beach State won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 42-29.
