Recap - Tulane Defeats South Florida 94-71

Tulane cruised to victory on Saturday, running South Florida out of the gym and running up a 94-71 score at Devlin Fieldhouse.

Tulane won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -5.5-point spread as favorites.

Melvin Frazier had 27 points for Tulane and Cameron Reynolds chipped in with 17 points. Ray Ona Embo had 6 assists for them, while Ryan Smith was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

South Florida got 22 points from Geno Thorpe in a losing cause and another 17 points from Tulio Da Silva. Michael Bibby contributed 3 assists for them, while Tulio Da Silva had 9 rebounds.

Tulane was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

South Florida won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 29-28.

Tulane looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the East Carolina. South Florida will aim to get back on the winning track at Tulsa.
