Prairie View A&M Falls 83-62 to Utah - Recap
The battle between Utah and Prairie View A&M didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Prairie View A&M was handed a 83-62 defeat on Friday at Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Utah got 22 points from Sedrick Barefield and another 17 points from David Collette. Sedrick Barefield contributed 4 assists, while Tyler Rawson cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Prairie View A&M got 16 points from Dennis Jones in a losing cause and another 16 points from Gary Blackston. Troy Thompson contributed 2 assists for them, while JD Wallace had 10 rebounds.
Utah was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Utah won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-28.
Utah heads into a battle against Mississippi Valley State. Prairie View A&M, meanwhile, will have their next action against Oregon.
