Recap - Baylor Defeats Southern 80-60
Baylor blew out Southern on Wednesday, running up the score in a 80-60 win at Ferrell Center.
Baylor got 22 points from Manu Lecomte and another 13 points from King McClure. Jake Lindsey contributed 4 assists, while Tristan Clark cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Southern got 21 points from Jared Sam in a losing cause and another 14 points from Jamar Sandifer. DeRias Johnson contributed 2 assists for them, while Jared Sam had 9 rebounds.
Baylor was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Baylor won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-24.
Baylor looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Texas Tech. Southern will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Ecclesia.
