Utah Valley grabbed a 90-82 win over UC Riverside on Thursday, behind a 20-point effort from Conner Toolson at UCCU Center.
Utah Valley got 20 points from Brandon Randolph and another 19 points from Kenneth Ogbe. Ben Nakwaasah contributed 6 assists, while Isaac Neilson cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
UC Riverside got a 25-point performance from Chance Murray, who was supported by 20 points from Alex Larsson. Chance Murray had 7 assists in a losing cause for UC Riverside, while Menno Dijkstra grabbed 6 rebounds.
Utah Valley was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Utah Valley won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-25.
