North Carolina State Falls 88-58 Against Notre Dame - Game Recap

Notre Dame cruised to victory on Wednesday, running North Carolina State out of the gym and running up a 88-58 score at Joyce Center.

Notre Dame won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -6.5-point spread as favorites.

Temple Gibbs had 22 points for Notre Dame and D.J. Harvey chipped in with 17 points. Temple Gibbs had 5 assists for them, while Martinas Geben was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.

North Carolina State got 13 points from Allerik Freeman in a losing cause and another 10 points from Lennard Freeman. Braxton Beverly contributed 5 assists for them, while Torin Dorn had 5 rebounds.

Notre Dame was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Notre Dame had a 41-28 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Notre Dame takes its act on the road to face Syracuse looking for another win. For North Carolina State, they head home to face Duke.
