Furman Falls 100-92 to The Citadel - Recap
The Citadel got 28 points and 10 rebounds from Zane Najdawi en route to a 100-92 victory over Furman on Saturday at McAlister Field House.
The Citadel won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +12.0-point spread as underdogs.
The Citadel got 21 points from Matt Frierson and another 18 points from Kaelon Harris. Frankie Johnson contributed 9 assists, while Zane Najdawi cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Furman got a 18-point performance from John Davis III, who was supported by 18 points from Devin Sibley. Daniel Fowler had 7 assists in a losing cause for Furman, while Daniel Fowler grabbed 9 rebounds.
The Citadel trailed at halftime, 52-45.
Furman had a 37-34 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
The Citadel looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Chattanooga. Furman will aim to get back on the winning track vs. UNC Greensboro.
