Montreal Defeats Ottawa 20-16 - Recap

Cameron Artis-Payne tore up the turf for 122 rushing yards on Monday to lead the Alouettes to a 20-16 win over the REDBLACKS at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

The Alouettes won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -9.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Cameron Artis-Payne rushed for 122 yards, while Vernon Adams Jr. added 41 yards in the win. B.J. Cunningham and Jake Wieneke added 50 and 46 receiving yards respectively.

De'Lance Turner rushed for 71 yards for Ottawa, while Caleb Evans added 64 yards. Caleb Evans threw for 125 yards for the REDBLACKS, while receivers Nate Behar and R.J. Harris had 49 and 31 yards respectively.

Ottawa was outgained by Montreal 374-265 yards in Monday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 22-13 by the Alouettes.

The time of possession battle favored Montreal as their offense was on the field for 35:11, longer than the 24:49 of their opponents.
