Argonauts Fall 37-16 Against Montreal - Game Recap

The Argonauts had no answer for William Stanback on Friday as the Alouettes rolled to a 37-16 win at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

Montreal was an underdog by +2.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 47.5.

William Stanback rushed for 203 yards, while Jeshrun Antwi added 17 yards in the win. Eugene Lewis and Reggie White Jr. added 156 and 26 receiving yards respectively.

John White IV rushed for 20 yards for Toronto, while McLeod Bethel-Thompson added 19 yards. McLeod Bethel-Thompson threw for 291 yards for the Argonauts, while receivers Kurleigh Gittens Jr. and Ricky Collins Jr. had 116 and 95 yards respectively.

Toronto lost the offensive yardage battle to Montreal 443-345 yards in Friday's game. Toronto had more first downs as that total ended up 19-18.

The time of possession battle favored Montreal as their offense was on the field for 32:21, longer than the 27:39 of their opponents.

Montreal looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Roughriders. The Argonauts will aim to get back on the winning track vs. British Columbia.
