Lions Fall 45-24 Against Toronto - Game Recap

Toronto cruised to victory on Monday, as they ran up a 45-24 score against British Columbia in Week 4 action at BMO Field.

Bettors who backed the Argonauts were also rewarded, as they covered the closing number as an underdog of +4.0 at sportsbooks. Over-Under bettors saw the total score go OVER the closing total of 47.5.

A.J. Ouellette rushed for 70 yards, while Chad Kelly added 25 yards in the win. Cam Phillips and Dejon Brissett added 76 and 54 receiving yards respectively.

Kienan LaFrance rushed for 22 yards for British Columbia, while Taquan Mizzell added 22 yards. Vernon Adams Jr. threw for 388 yards for the Lions, while receivers Keon Hatcher and Justin McInnis had 104 and 81 yards respectively.

Toronto lost the offensive yardage battle to British Columbia 440-355 yards in Monday's game. British Columbia had more first downs as that total ended up 22-21.

Toronto led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:40-28:20 split in that important category.

Toronto heads into a Week 6 battle against the Alouettes. British Columbia, meanwhile, will have their next action against Montreal.
