Tigers vs Gamecocks Final: 34-14 - Recap
The battle between the Tigers and Gamecocks didn't turn out to be much of a battle at all as South Carolina was handed a 34-14 defeat on Saturday at Memorial Stadium-Columbia.
Missouri was the ATS victor, as they covered the -9.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 60.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
Larry Rountree III rushed for 88 yards, while Kelly Bryant added 77 yards in the win. Jonathan Nance and Johnathon Johnson added 60 and 52 receiving yards respectively.
Rico Dowdle rushed for 17 yards for South Carolina, while Tavien Feaster added 14 yards. Ryan Hilinski threw for 166 yards for the Gamecocks, while receivers Bryan Edwards and Kyle Markway had 113 and 52 yards respectively.
South Carolina lost the offensive yardage battle to Missouri 421-271 yards in Saturday's game. Missouri had more first downs as that total ended up 26-11.
Missouri led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 37:50-22:10 split in that important category.
Missouri looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Troy. South Carolina will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Kentucky.
