Recap - Mountaineers Defeat Kansas 29-24

The Jayhawks came up short against the Mountaineers in Week 4 action on Saturday, falling 29-24 at Memorial Stadium-Lawrence.

West Virginia was the ATS victor, as they covered the -4.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 49.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Kennedy McKoy rushed for 73 yards, while Leddie Brown added 70 yards in the win. T.J. Simmons and Kennedy McKoy added 46 and 44 receiving yards respectively.

Pooka Williams Jr. rushed for 76 yards for Kansas, while Carter Stanley added 39 yards. Carter Stanley threw for 275 yards for the Jayhawks, while receivers Andrew Parchment and Daylon Charlot had 132 and 52 yards respectively.

West Virginia lost the offensive yardage battle to Kansas 417-394 yards in Saturday's game. West Virginia had more first downs as that total ended up 25-20.

Kansas lost the time of possession battle 37:41-22:19, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, West Virginia takes its act home to face Texas looking for another win. For Kansas, they head on the road to face Texas Christian.
