Oklahoma State Falls 36-30 to Longhorns - Recap
Keaontay Ingram scampered through the Oklahoma State defense for 114 yards as Texas handed the Cowboys a 36-30 defeat on Saturday at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
Texas did not, however, defeat the Cowboys against the spread, which closed at -7.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 72.5.
Keaontay Ingram rushed for 114 yards, while Sam Ehlinger added 70 yards in the win. Devin Duvernay and Brennan Eagles added 108 and 73 receiving yards respectively.
Chuba Hubbard rushed for 121 yards for Oklahoma State, while Spencer Sanders added 109 yards. Spencer Sanders threw for 268 yards for the Cowboys, while receivers Tylan Wallace and Dillon Stoner had 83 and 55 yards respectively.
The time of possession battle favored Texas as their offense was on the field for 30:41, longer than the 29:19 of their opponents.
Next game, Texas takes its act on the road to face West Virginia looking for another win. For Oklahoma State, they head home to face Kansas State.
