Miners Fall 37-21 Against Nevada - Game Recap

The Wolf Pack were Week 4 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Miners by a score of 37-21 at Sun Bowl.

The Wolf Pack were a -14.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 51.5.

Cristian Solano rushed for 100 yards, while Toa Taua added 43 yards in the win. Elijah Cooks and Kaleb Fossum added 82 and 46 receiving yards respectively.

Treyvon Hughes rushed for 80 yards for UTEP, while Josh Fields added 44 yards. Brandon Jones threw for 106 yards for the Miners, while receivers Jess Trussell and DeVaughn Cooper had 53 and 35 yards respectively.

UTEP was outgained by Nevada 403-278 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 19-17 by the Wolf Pack.

Nevada lost the time of possession battle 34:55-25:05, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Nevada looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Hawaii. UTEP will aim to get back on the winning track at Southern Miss.
