Utes vs Cougars Final: 38-13 - Recap
Tyler Huntley led the way with 334 passing yards on Saturday as the Utes picked up a 38-13 victory over the Cougars at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
Utah won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -5.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 57.5.
Tyler Huntley completed 21 of 30 pass attempts for 334 yards for the Utes in the win.
Max Borghi rushed for 51 yards for Washington State, while Deon McIntosh added 9 yards. Anthony Gordon threw for 252 yards for the Cougars, while receivers Max Borghi and Dezmon Patmon had 70 and 62 yards respectively.
Washington State lost the offensive yardage battle to Utah 526-313 yards in Saturday's game. Utah had more first downs as that total ended up 29-18.
The time of possession battle favored Utah as their offense was on the field for 34:28, longer than the 25:32 of their opponents.
Next game, Utah takes its act on the road to face Oregon State looking for another win. For Washington State, they head on the road to face Arizona State.
