Hawkeyes Fall 10-3 Against Michigan - Game Recap

Michigan earned a 10-3 victory over Iowa on Saturday in Week 6 action at Michigan Stadium.

Michigan won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -4.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 49.0.

Zach Charbonnet rushed for 42 yards, while Tru Wilson added 28 yards in the win. Nico Collins and Donovan Peoples-Jones added 63 and 26 receiving yards respectively.

Toren Young rushed for 40 yards for Iowa, while Tyler Goodson added 15 yards. Nate Stanley threw for 260 yards for the Hawkeyes, while receivers Tyler Goodson and Ihmir Smith-Marsette had 62 and 60 yards respectively.

Michigan outgained Iowa 267-261 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 18-13 by the Hawkeyes.

Iowa led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:57-26:03 split in that important category.

Michigan looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Illinois. Iowa will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Penn State.
