NC State Defeats Syracuse 16-10 - Recap
The Orange came up short against the Wolfpack in Week 7 action on Thursday, falling 16-10 at Carter-Finley Stadium.
NC State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -4.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 55.5.
Zonovan Knight rushed for 61 yards, while Jordan Houston added 54 yards in the win. Emeka Emezie and Devin Carter added 77 and 50 receiving yards respectively.
Moe Neal rushed for 31 yards for Syracuse, while Abdul Adams added 17 yards. Tommy DeVito threw for 300 yards for the Orange, while receivers Trishton Jackson and Sean Riley had 106 and 52 yards respectively.
Syracuse led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:18-29:42 split in that important category.
Next game, NC State takes its act on the road to face Boston College looking for another win. For Syracuse, they head home to face Pittsburgh.
