Arkansas Falls 24-20 to Wildcats - Recap

Lynn Bowden Jr. scampered through the Arkansas defense for 196 yards as Kentucky handed the Razorbacks a 24-20 defeat on Saturday at Kroger Field.

Kentucky won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -3.0-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 52.0.

Lynn Bowden Jr. rushed for 196 yards, while Asim Rose added 90 yards in the win. Justin Rigg and Allen Dailey Jr. added 43 and 14 receiving yards respectively.

Rakeem Boyd rushed for 134 yards for Arkansas, while Devwah Whaley added 42 yards. Nick Starkel threw for 41 yards for the Razorbacks, while receivers Cheyenne O'Grady and Treylon Burks had 44 and 25 yards respectively.

Arkansas lost the offensive yardage battle to Kentucky 418-305 yards in Saturday's game. Kentucky had more first downs as that total ended up 21-16.

The time of possession battle favored Kentucky as their offense was on the field for 37:11, longer than the 22:49 of their opponents.

Next game, Kentucky takes its act on the road to face Georgia looking for another win. For Arkansas, they head home to face Auburn.
