Cougars Fall 27-23 Against USF - Game Recap
BYU was unable to contain Jordan Cronkrite on Saturday and the result was a 27-23 Week 7 loss against the Bulls.
USF won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +4.5-point spread as underdogs. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 49.5.
Jordan Cronkrite rushed for 158 yards, while Trevon Sands added 63 yards in the win. Mitchell Wilcox and Xavier Weaver added 52 and 8 receiving yards respectively.
Jaren Hall rushed for 83 yards for BYU, while Lopini Katoa added 73 yards. Jaren Hall threw for 148 yards for the Cougars, while receivers Talon Shumway and Gunner Romney had 56 and 47 yards respectively.
BYU outgained USF 439-315 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 26-17 by the Cougars.
BYU led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 37:30-22:30 split in that important category.
Next game, USF takes its act on the road to face Navy looking for another win. For BYU, they head home to face Boise State.
