Recap - Broncos Defeat Ball State 35-31

LeVante Bellamy ran for 157 yards as Western Michigan handled Ball State by a score of 35-31 on Tuesday at Waldo Stadium.

The Broncos won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -6.0-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.

LeVante Bellamy rushed for 157 yards, while Jon Wassink added 131 yards in the win. Giovanni Ricci and DaShon Bussell added 33 and 26 receiving yards respectively.

Caleb Huntley rushed for 120 yards for Ball State, while Walter Fletcher added 72 yards. Drew Plitt threw for 148 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Justin Hall and Walter Fletcher had 64 and 27 yards respectively.

Ball State lost the offensive yardage battle to Western Michigan 506-409 yards in Tuesday's game. Western Michigan had more first downs as that total ended up 27-23.

The time of possession battle favored Western Michigan as their offense was on the field for 32:37, longer than the 27:23 of their opponents.

Western Michigan looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Ohio. Ball State will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Central Michigan.
