Blue Devils Fall 49-6 Against Syracuse - Game Recap

Jarveon Howard tore up the turf for 115 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Orange to a 49-6 win over the Blue Devils at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.

Syracuse was the ATS victor, as they covered the +9.5-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 49.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Jarveon Howard rushed for 115 yards, while Moe Neal added 115 yards in the win. Trishton Jackson and Luke Benson added 68 and 28 receiving yards respectively.

Duke was outgained by Syracuse 395-279 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 19-16 by the Blue Devils.

The time of possession battle favored Duke as their offense was on the field for 32:42, longer than the 27:18 of their opponents.

Syracuse heads into a 13 battle against Louisville. Duke, meanwhile, will have their next action against Wake Forest.
