Beavers Fall 54-53 Against Washington State - Game Recap
Anthony Gordon led the way with 606 passing yards on Saturday as the Cougars picked up a 54-53 victory over the Beavers at Clarence D. Martin Stadium.
The Cougars won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -10.5-point spread. OVER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an OVER play.
Anthony Gordon completed 50 of 70 pass attempts for 606 yards for the Cougars in the win.
Jermar Jefferson rushed for 132 yards for Oregon State, while Artavis Pierce added 58 yards. Jake Luton threw for 408 yards for the Beavers, while receivers Champ Flemings and Noah Togiai had 110 and 67 yards respectively.
Oregon State lost the offensive yardage battle to Washington State 641-601 yards in Saturday's game. Washington State had more first downs as that total ended up 35-25.
