LA Tech Bulldogs vs UAB Blazers Wrap - UAB Wins 20-14
The Blazers grabbed a Week 13 victory over the Bulldogs on Saturday, winning 20-14 at Legion Field.
The Blazers won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -6.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.
Lucious Stanley rushed for 61 yards, while Jermaine Brown Jr. added 49 yards in the win. Myron Mitchell and Austin Watkins added 81 and 75 receiving yards respectively.
Justin Henderson rushed for 63 yards for LA Tech, while Israel Tucker added 15 yards. Aaron Allen threw for 173 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Isaiah Graham and Griffin Hebert had 42 and 33 yards respectively.
LA Tech was outgained by UAB 353-270 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 17-16 by the Blazers.
UAB led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:52-27:08 split in that important category.
UAB looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against North Texas. LA Tech will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Texas-San Antonio.
