Warhawks vs Chanticleers Final: 45-42 - Recap
Louisiana-Monroe's aerial attack produced 346 yards and the Warhawks produced a 45-42 victory over Coastal Carolina on Saturday at JPS Field at James L. Malone Stadium.

Caleb Evans completed 19 of 33 pass attempts for 346 yards for the Warhawks in the win.
CJ Marable rushed for 172 yards for Coastal Carolina, while Bryce Carpenter added 32 yards. Fred Payton threw for 158 yards for the Chanticleers, while receivers Larry Collins Jr. and Reese White had 60 and 58 yards respectively.
Coastal Carolina lost the offensive yardage battle to Louisiana-Monroe 563-452 yards in Saturday's game. Louisiana-Monroe had more first downs as that total ended up 27-22.
Coastal Carolina led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:12-26:48 split in that important category.
Next game, Louisiana-Monroe takes its act on the road to face Louisiana-Lafayette looking for another win. For Coastal Carolina, they head home to face Texas State.
