Recap - Hawkeyes Defeat Nebraska 27-24

Nebraska was unable to contain Tyler Goodson on Friday and the result was a 27-24 Week 14 loss against the Hawkeyes.

Iowa won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -3.5-point spread. The game went OVER the consensus closing total of 46.0.

Tyler Goodson rushed for 116 yards, while Mekhi Sargent added 55 yards in the win. Sam LaPorta and Ihmir Smith-Marsette added 37 and 22 receiving yards respectively.

Dedrick Mills rushed for 94 yards for Nebraska, while Adrian Martinez added 44 yards. Luke McCaffrey threw for 39 yards for the Cornhuskers, while receivers Dedrick Mills and JD Spielman had 34 and 34 yards respectively.

Nebraska lost the offensive yardage battle to Iowa 324-284 yards in Friday's game. Nebraska had more first downs as that total ended up 18-13.

Iowa lost the time of possession battle 33:51-26:09, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
