Recap - Volunteers Defeat Vanderbilt 28-10

Tennessee got a 246-yard performance from Eric Gray as a key part of its 28-10 victory over the Commodores on Saturday at Neyland Stadium.

The Volunteers won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -23.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Eric Gray rushed for 246 yards, while Tim Jordan added 40 yards in the win. Jauan Jennings and Dominick Wood-Anderson added 56 and 45 receiving yards respectively.

Keyon Brooks rushed for 70 yards for Vanderbilt, while Riley Neal added 16 yards. Riley Neal threw for 139 yards for the Commodores, while receivers Kalija Lipscomb and Cam Johnson had 43 and 35 yards respectively.

Vanderbilt was outgained by Tennessee 417-279 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 18-16 by the Commodores.

Vanderbilt led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:30-28:30 split in that important category.
