Oregon State Falls 27-21 to Huskies - Recap
The Beavers came up short against the Huskies in Week 11 action on Saturday, falling 27-21 at Alaska Airlines Field at Husky Stadium.
Washington did not, however, defeat the Beavers against the spread, which closed at -13.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 51.0.
Sean McGrew rushed for 91 yards, while Kamari Pleasant added 61 yards in the win. Terrell Bynum and Cameron Davis added 66 and 19 receiving yards respectively.
Jermar Jefferson rushed for 133 yards for Oregon State, while B.J. Baylor added 41 yards. Tristan Gebbia threw for 85 yards for the Beavers, while receivers Luke Musgrave and Kolby Taylor had 25 and 20 yards respectively.
Oregon State was outgained by Washington 408-252 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 24-16 by the Huskies.
Oregon State lost the time of possession battle 36:59-23:01, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Washington takes its act home to face Arizona looking for another win. For Oregon State, they head home to face California.
