TCU Defeats Baylor 33-23 - Recap
Baylor was unable to contain Darwin Barlow on Saturday and the result was a 33-23 Week 9 loss against the Horned Frogs.
TCU won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -2.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 47.5.
Darwin Barlow rushed for 117 yards, while Zach Evans added 81 yards in the win. Quentin Johnston and Taye Barber added 64 and 42 receiving yards respectively.
Craig Williams rushed for 82 yards for Baylor, while Trestan Ebner added 22 yards. Charlie Brewer threw for 203 yards for the Bears, while receivers Yusuf Terry and Ben Sims had 43 and 40 yards respectively.
Baylor lost the offensive yardage battle to TCU 385-278 yards in Saturday's game. TCU had more first downs as that total ended up 20-15.
The time of possession battle favored TCU as their offense was on the field for 31:23, longer than the 28:37 of their opponents.
TCU heads into a 10 battle against Texas Tech. Baylor, meanwhile, will have their next action against Iowa State.
