Baylor Falls 27-21 to Mountaineers - Recap

The Bears came up short against the Mountaineers in Week 5 action on Saturday, falling 27-21 at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium.

West Virginia was the ATS victor, as they covered the +1.0-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 54.0 were rewarded at the payout window.

Leddie Brown rushed for 93 yards, while Alec Sinkfield added 53 yards in the win. Sam James and Leddie Brown added 66 and 31 receiving yards respectively.

Baylor was outgained by West Virginia 345-256 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 18-15 by the Mountaineers.

West Virginia led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:53-28:07 split in that important category.

Next game, West Virginia takes its act home to face Kansas looking for another win. For Baylor, they head home to face Oklahoma State.
