Wildcats Fall 32-31 Against Baylor - Game Recap

Charlie Brewer was good for 349 yards through the air on Saturday as the Bears got past the Wildcats by a score of 32-31 at McLane Stadium.

The Bears earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the -5.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 44.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.

Charlie Brewer completed 31 of 39 pass attempts for 349 yards for the Bears in the win.

Deuce Vaughn rushed for 102 yards for Kansas State, while Malik Knowles added 81 yards. Will Howard threw for 88 yards for the Wildcats, while receivers Briley Moore and Deuce Vaughn had 55 and 19 yards respectively.

Kansas State was outgained by Baylor 420-344 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-14 by the Bears.

Kansas State lost the time of possession battle 34:18-25:42, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Next game, Baylor takes its act on the road to face Oklahoma looking for another win. For Kansas State, they head home to face Texas.
