Recap - Sooners Defeat Texas Tech 62-28

Theo Wease caught 5 passes for 105 yards against the Texas Tech defense as Oklahoma handed the Red Raiders a 62-28 loss on Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium.

The Sooners were a -17.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 65.0.

Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 87 yards, while Seth McGowan added 58 yards in the win. Theo Wease and Austin Stogner added 105 and 77 receiving yards respectively.

Chadarius Townsend rushed for 68 yards for Texas Tech, while Tahj Brooks added 30 yards. Henry Colombi threw for 227 yards for the Red Raiders, while receivers Erik Ezukanma and Travis Koontz had 88 and 75 yards respectively.

Texas Tech lost the offensive yardage battle to Oklahoma 559-400 yards in Saturday's game. Oklahoma had more first downs as that total ended up 29-18.

The time of possession battle favored Oklahoma as their offense was on the field for 36:23, longer than the 23:37 of their opponents.

Oklahoma looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Kansas. Texas Tech will aim to get back on the winning track at TCU.
