Northwestern Defeats Purdue 27-20 - Recap

The Wildcats grabbed a Week 11 victory over the Boilermakers on Saturday, winning 27-20 at Ross-Ade Stadium.

Northwestern was a favorite by -3.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 48.5.

Isaiah Bowser rushed for 27 yards, while Kyric McGowan added 22 yards in the win. Ramaud Chiaokhiao-Bowman and Kyric McGowan added 86 and 34 receiving yards respectively.

Zander Horvath rushed for 21 yards for Purdue, while Milton Wright added 5 yards. Aidan O'Connell threw for 263 yards for the Boilermakers, while receivers Zander Horvath and David Bell had 100 and 78 yards respectively.

Purdue lost the offensive yardage battle to Northwestern 292-265 yards in Saturday's game. Northwestern had more first downs as that total ended up 19-15.

Northwestern led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:02-24:58 split in that important category.

Next game, Northwestern takes its act home to face Wisconsin looking for another win. For Purdue, they head on the road to face Minnesota.
