Chippewas Fall 45-20 Against Ball State - Game Recap

Drew Plitt was good for 366 yards through the air on Saturday as the Cardinals got past the Chippewas by a score of 45-20 at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.

Ball State was the ATS victor, as they covered the -2.5-point spread as a favorite. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 62.5 were rewarded at the payout window.

Ball State outgained Central Michigan 519-342 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 28-17 by the Cardinals.

The time of possession battle favored Ball State as their offense was on the field for 35:28, longer than the 24:32 of their opponents.

Next game, Ball State takes its act home to face Western Michigan looking for another win. For Central Michigan, they head on the road to face Toledo.
