New Mexico Falls 27-20 to Wolf Pack - Recap

Carson Strong was good for 336 yards through the air on Saturday as the Wolf Pack got past the Lobos by a score of 27-20 at Sam Boyd Stadium.

The Wolf Pack won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -17.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Carson Strong completed 24 of 38 pass attempts for 336 yards for the Wolf Pack in the win.

Bobby Cole rushed for 90 yards for New Mexico, while Trae Hall added 27 yards. Bryson Carroll threw for 16 yards for the Lobos, while receivers Emmanuel Logan-Greene and Jordan Kress had 56 and 50 yards respectively.

Nevada outgained New Mexico 392-352 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 21-19 by the Lobos.

New Mexico led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:15-27:45 split in that important category.

Next game, Nevada takes its act home to face San Diego State looking for another win. For New Mexico, they head on the road to face Air Force.
