Arkansas State Falls 52-23 to Chanticleers - Recap

Coastal Carolina's aerial attack produced 322 yards and the Chanticleers produced a 52-23 victory over Arkansas State on Saturday at Brooks Stadium.

Lincoln Pare rushed for 18 yards for Arkansas State, while Marcel Murray added 11 yards. Logan Bonner threw for 165 yards for the Red Wolves, while receivers Brandon Bowling and Jonathan Adams Jr. had 115 and 98 yards respectively.

Arkansas State was outgained by Coastal Carolina 539-385 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 25-15 by the Chanticleers.

The time of possession battle favored Coastal Carolina as their offense was on the field for 41:21, longer than the 17:53 of their opponents.

Next game, Coastal Carolina takes its act on the road to face Louisiana-Lafayette looking for another win. For Arkansas State, they head home to face Central Arkansas.
