Eagles Fall 27-23 Against Kent State - Game Recap

Kent State won 27-23 on Wednesday against Eastern Michigan behind a 104-yard receiving performance from Isaiah McKoy at Dix Stadium.

The Golden Flashes won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -4.5-point spread. UNDER bettors were rewarded when the final score pointed to an UNDER play.

Bryan Bradford rushed for 72 yards, while Marquez Cooper added 58 yards in the win. Isaiah McKoy and Dante Cephas added 104 and 47 receiving yards respectively.

Darius Boone Jr. rushed for 68 yards for Eastern Michigan, while Jairus Grissom added 9 yards. Preston Hutchinson threw for 241 yards for the Eagles, while receivers Hassan Beydoun and Quian Williams had 112 and 51 yards respectively.

Eastern Michigan lost the offensive yardage battle to Kent State 431-302 yards in Wednesday's game. Kent State had more first downs as that total ended up 28-20.

Eastern Michigan lost the time of possession battle 30:57-29:03, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Kent State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Bowling Green. Eastern Michigan will aim to get back on the winning track at Ball State.
