Florida Falls 55-20 to Sooners - Recap
Rhamondre Stevenson scampered through the Florida defense for 186 yards as Oklahoma handed the Gators a 55-20 defeat on Wednesday at AT&T Stadium.
Oklahoma won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -8.5-point spread as favorites. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 65.0.
Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 186 yards, while Marcus Major added 110 yards in the win. Seth McGowan and Charleston Rambo added 70 and 45 receiving yards respectively.
Emory Jones rushed for 60 yards for Florida, while Dameon Pierce added 60 yards. Anthony Richardson threw for 27 yards for the Gators, while receivers Trent Whittemore and Rick Wells had 47 and 43 yards respectively.
Florida lost the offensive yardage battle to Oklahoma 684-521 yards in Wednesday's game. Florida had more first downs as that total ended up 28-25.
The time of possession battle favored Florida as their offense was on the field for 33:20, longer than the 26:40 of their opponents.
