Gators vs Bulls Final: 42-20 - Recap
Florida got a 115-yard performance from Anthony Richardson as a key part of its 42-20 victory over the Bulls on Saturday at Raymond James Stadium.
Florida did not, however, defeat the Bulls against the spread, which closed at -29.0 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 56.5.
Anthony Richardson rushed for 115 yards, while Emory Jones added 81 yards in the win. Jacob Copeland and Xzavier Henderson added 175 and 68 receiving yards respectively.
Darrian Felix rushed for 40 yards for USF, while Jaren Mangham added 29 yards. Xavier Weaver threw for 0 yards for the Bulls, while receivers Xavier Weaver and Sean Atkins had 68 and 34 yards respectively.
USF lost the offensive yardage battle to Florida 666-283 yards in Saturday's game. Florida had more first downs as that total ended up 26-20.
USF lost the time of possession battle 30:42-29:18, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Florida looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Alabama. USF will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Florida A&M.
