Ball State Falls 45-12 to Cowboys - Recap

Ball State couldn't hang with the Cowboys on Saturday as Wyoming blasted the Cardinals 45-12 in Week 3 action at Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium.

The Cowboys were a -6.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 53.5.

Xazavian Valladay rushed for 61 yards, while Dawaiian McNeely added 48 yards in the win. Isaiah Neyor and Xazavian Valladay added 84 and 43 receiving yards respectively.

Carson Steele rushed for 76 yards for Ball State, while Will Jones added 47 yards. John Paddock threw for 82 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Jayshon Jackson and Justin Hall had 92 and 20 yards respectively.

Ball State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 30:11-29:49 split in that important category.

Next game, Wyoming takes its act on the road to face UCONN looking for another win. For Ball State, they head home to face Toledo.
